Thomas Wayne Scott
My Pop...Thomas Wayne Scott. Pickin' some country in his late teens.
From showing me my first guitar chords, to listening to me tell all my crazy
stories of gigging, to sharing CD's...

Danny 'Mudcat' Dudek
He took the Atlanta blues scene by storm in the '90s, and now he's taking
Europe. The hardest working bluesman I've ever known, as well as the best
historian. Someday we'll be 'givin' it back' to Danny. Thanks!

Slim Fatz
Another one of my brothers in Atlanta, and the inspiration for Slim Pickins on
my latest album. You don't see a Slim show, you experience it!

Bill Sheffield
Bill is one of the most amazing performers I've seen anywhere, much less just in
Atlanta. With a powerful voice and thumb 'n finger style that will blow
you across the floor...I always loved seeing him play. I was lucky enough
to be able to play piano some with him before I left Atlanta.

John Lee Hooker
One of my all times favorite soloist...I always strive to be able to capture a
rhythm like this master did every song. He will be sorely missed.

Taj Mahal
Truly carrying the torch...I've listened to his solo work more than anyone
else. Has also helped Mudcat out quite a bit.

Keb Mo
A great contemporary. I cover several of his tunes in my live shows.
I love his solo work.

John Hammond
Everyone else bow down...for the King has come!
Please get out and see this master before your regret it. He's played with
everyone and is true blues - balls to bone. He heavily influenced my
rack-harp playing.
